Tallahassee is the State Capitol of Florida and naturally this makes this city somewhat more reserved and business oriented than many of the laid back, fun in the sun sites all around Florida. Tallahassee obviously must be an Indian word since the city once was an Indian Village. But what Tallahassee is now is a no-nonsense kind of place and is not anywhere near the size of most cosmopolitan areas. In comparison it is the 133rd largest city and nowhere do you find a billboard saying they are the biggest, the best or the most beautiful. It just is, take it or leave. Most take it.
