Disney World

Disney World is nearby Orlando in Lake Buena Vista Florida and was created in 1995 by Walt Disney, the famous cartoon author. His first such park where was in California. There he first created his imaginative cartoon characters. As it now stands, this amazingly popular Florida vacation spot for children of all ages, is made up of several parks. It is so vast that a special train takes visitors to the different locations. Therefore, while there expect to park your car and hop a train to get from one place to another.

The Magic Kingdom is a fairyland where you will meet the fabulous cartoon characters in person. The Cinderella Castle is the hub of the wheel that directs the concentric village of fantasy. In all, there are seven different experiences to be enjoyed here. The spokes of the wheel address the varying themes of Adventure land, Frontier land, Liberty Square, Fantasy land, Mickey's Toontown and Tomorrow land.

Epcot Center is a little more cerebral, yet still fantasy related. Its two related themes are the Future and The World. You can walk around from beginning to end and stop and savor all kinds of delights. When hungry have breakfast in Canada, Lunch in France with their wonderful baked desserts and then have dinner in China. Their world is a recreated pavilion of different world cultures. Other themes are Disney's Typhoon Lagoon, Animal Park, Hollywood Studios and Disney's Blizzard Beach.

Disney died before the realizations of his dream for the area he absolutely loved became a reality. Actually, his brother Roy was in there physically, but mentally Walt was there too. Somehow , an aura of brotherly love is hanging over the place and Disney world has become a positive experience for all who visit. It opened in December of 1971.
